Spellings.

Spellings are given out weekly. There are two spelling groups and each group has ten spellings plus a bonus word. Each spelling word must be put into a sentence so that the pupil understands the meaning and is able to use the word in the correct context. This is done in their handwriting book and is given as homework. The spelling tests are done on Wednesdays which is also the day that the sentences need to be handed in.
